You may have seen some other titanium and carbon mix bikes out there and so you ask what is the difference here? Most other manufacturers take a welded ti frame and cut the tubes out and replace them with some basic carbon tubes because they can't join carbon tubes. We believe that this is the wrong way to go! You can't get the smoothness from the titanium out of the joints! If you want to have the smoothness and feel of titanium combined with the snap and responsiveness of carbon we believe that you should have a combination of titanium tubes and carbon joints with carbon stays. This results the best balance of weight, material usage and performance. The BELLE TI is a true women's bike that is equally at home on the wind swept flats, in a spirited sprint or going up and over the steepest slopes of your favorite mountain. How does a BELLE TI ride you ask? Our best description for the ride is one of floating along. The feeling you are just flying on top of a cloud that is light, smooth and will instantly react to your every input as you intend it to. With Ruegamer we give the rider many more options than any other "custom builder" out there. Here at Ruegamer we like to start out with the riders themselves; we take your size, shape, weight and intended use all into account when we build your frame. This way we are able to custom tune the frame to perfectly fit your needs. We are also specialists in the realm of fitting and making bikes for women. We currently work exclusively with Jeff and Jacqui Lockwood of Lifesport, who offer coaching, ergonomics and specialized fitting here in Chandler, AZ. and have conducted studies of the effect that fit, bike weight and crank length have on women riders. Of course every BELLE TI we build is fully custom with its geometry to the rider. Like sloping top tubes, great! Like a more traditional horizontal top tube, cool, it's yours! Want an extended seat tube all the way up to the saddle? Done! The titanium we utilize is made up of some of the worlds most advanced alloys 3AL-2.5V to make a tube that is not only smooth but also very strong and light. We like to let the rider choose their tube size; do you like big fat tubes or smaller more selvete tubes? Your bike your choice. Then you get to choose the look of the carbon; do you like unidirectional material, plain weave or twill weave? Do you like a smaller weave like 3k or do you like a bigger weave like 12k. The choice is yours! Do you like the look of internal routed cables or are external cables your deal? You got it, it's your bike, you choose! Well, now that you kind of have an overall idea of how your bike is going to look you get to the single hardest thing with building a custom bike, deciding on the paint job! We give you the option of a couple of eye-catching schemes to help this along. You get to choose any two-color stock schemes. If you want something truly custom of your own design we are very glad to accommodate your ideas and will work with you to create that very special custom look you are dreaming of. You can even have us color match your special favorite flavor of color! More options you say? In addition with the basic frame options you are also given the choice from two diameters of an integrated bottom bracket shell that will suit your choice of cranks as well as the standard English or Italian threaded shell. Have a special seat post that you want to have fit your new ride? The option of a 27.2 or 31.6 seat post size, or fully custom seat tube size is up to you! No one on the planet gives you these kinds of choices! We also offer custom machined length cranks with our frames and special handlebars to make sure each and every rider is getting the most out of her ride.
